I believe that a good relationship between the employer and the employee is essential in corporate success. As the Chief Nursing Officer, I agree that the frequent employee unrest in the firm is backed by the failure to fulfil internal factors. I believe that several processes that will restore the first cooperation between the employees and the firm. At first, authenticity is an essential virtue between employees and employers. Authentic stakeholders know their personalities and accept their colleagues for who they are authenticity links personal beliefs, characters and diverse points of view (2019). I find the initiative to create an environment that allows free flow of information within the firm offering a guaranteed strategy to build better relationships. This will further connect the employees to employers. Another initiative is to recognize common goals as well as values. Objectives and benefits are realized through the moral character of employees (Christfort, Beard, & Harrell, 2017). Even though people have diverse personalities, there are a few common goals and values. To foster better relationships, respecting these universal objectives is mandatory.
I also believe that developing mutual respect will enhance the employer-employee connection. Respectful relationships are fostered in both online and offline platforms (Christfort, Beard, & Harrell, 2017). I think that the employees and the employers in my corporation have good relationships. However, to improve these connections, mutual respect must develop to keep them intact. Another element that needs to be applied is sharing vulnerabilities. As human beings, we need to offer the needed support in times of difficulties and transitions. Sharing vulnerabilities is also a part of being authentic. However, a lot of caution is required in deciding which vulnerabilities to share. Finally, I also believe that this corporation can stand constant distrust and unrest through fostering stakeholders’ loyalty. When employers support their employees, commitment is achieved.
