The week’s paper assignment is a case study based on Chapters 7 and 8 of the textbook.
Activity Instructions
Prepare and submit a critical response essay for Case Incident 2: Pay Raises Everyday in Chapter 8. Address the following:
Do you think frequent, small raises versus annual, larger raises is more motivating? Why or why not?
Do you think you would personally be more motivated by more frequent raises or by performance bonuses if the annual amounts were the same?
Annual pay raises in the United States are expected to be around 3 percent in the next few years. Do you think this percentage is motivating to employees? Why or why not?
Support your response with citations from the textbook and a minimum of two scholarly sources. It is advisable to use the Tiffin University Library for accessing scholarly sources.
