In this course, you have encountered historical documents revealing the way people
felt about their place in the world, as a part of a nation, a people, or other social
category. Reflecting upon these writings/materials, what does World History teach
us about how human beings assume different political or social identities? Refer to

Pool Three Question: Culture, Belief, Art, Humanity
In History 1110 this semester you have studied works of artistic, religious, or
philosophical significance. In what way does the study of such materials compel one
to reflect upon fundamental human questions regarding belief, morality, or notions
of beauty? To what extent are these questions, and their answers universal or
