Behavioral Health Organizational Assessment
To promote organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness, it is important to periodically conduct assessments to observe and target areas for improvement. Further, meeting regulatory requirements requires that certain aspects of a behavioral health organization be assessed and continuously monitored. Finally, some aspects of assessment have to be on an individual level to promote employee development.
For this week’s Discussion, you will apply what you have learned this week to an organizational process you have encountered in your professional experience.

- Review this week’s Learning Resources on organizational assessment and performance.
- Think about an organizational assessment process you have been through in either your present organization or one you have been through in the past with a previous organization.

Briefly describe the organization you are using for this discussion, and the role of assessment in the organization. In your response, explain what types of instruments were utilized, what the assessment outcomes were, and how the results were used.
