Developing a Personal Leadership Philosophy Statement

Directions:

After studying Module 7: Lecture Materials & Resources, discuss the following:

  • What is a personal leadership philosophy statement, and why is it important for nursing leaders to develop one?
  • How can nursing leaders articulate their core values, beliefs, and leadership principles in a personal leadership philosophy statement?
  • Can you discuss the process of developing your own personal leadership philosophy statement and the impact it has had on your leadership practice?
