Model
Primary care management of type 2 diabetes (T2D) in older adults is increasingly complex due to clinical, educational, and system-level challenges. Older adults experience disproportionately higher rates of diabetes-related morbidity and mortality, making effective glycemic control a critical priority. Poor glycemic control is associated with increased microvascular and macrovascular complications, higher hospitalization rates, and escalating healthcare costs. Therefore, evidence-based strategies that enhance guideline adherence, promote behavior change, and improve patient engagement are essential in primary care settings.
PICOT
In adults aged 65 years and older with type 2 diabetes in primary care (P), how does FNP-led motivational interviewing aligned with national diabetes guidelines (I), compared with standard diabetes education (C), affect hemoglobin A1C reduction and goal attainment (O) over six months (T)?
SO based on this, design a good presentation using the attached. Make it very good and covering the rubric
